Dorchester Presbyterian Church is a certified PCUSA Earth Care Congregation. We have taken a pledge and take continuous actions to be good stewards of the earth and of all that God has given us through our worship, mission, education, and property. The Green Team is a group of members that help us to uphold our pledge and encourage the involvement of the entire church and surrounding community.

The Green Team reviews and completes our yearly Earth Care application and review. They make recommendations to the various groups and committees, keep us connected to the larger church and community surrounding environmental issues, and encourage new or more efficient ways of corporately and individually caring for the earth in our daily lives. Green Team activities include community workshops, guest speakers, service projects, recycling, promoting and making use of our 42 acre campus, and becoming more energy efficient.
