The Christian Education Committee exists to help people of all ages learn about Jesus, engage with the Bible, and grow in faith.
We support faith formation through welcoming ministries that encourage learning, connection, and spiritual growth.
Our Ministries
Intergenerational Bible Study
Meets at 9:40 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall between worship services. Led by Pastor Jeff, we invite you to connect with all ages by exploring Scripture in a thoughtful, accessible way, with guided discussion and shared breakfast. All ages are welcome!
Nursery (ages 0–2)
Our Nursery provides a safe and nurturing space for infants and toddlers. Caring, trained staff give your little ones the attention they need, so you can fully participate in the service with peace of mind.

Children’s Worship (Pre-K3 through 4th grade)
Children in Kindergarten through 4th grade are invited to enjoy a fun, interactive worship time led by our Associate Pastor Zach that reflects the theme of the service that day. In Children’s Worship, we respond to God with our hearts and minds through prayer, art, music, and play. After the Children’s Sermon during the 10:30 a.m. service, children are invited to walk over to the Good Shepherd school with Pastor Zach and a church elder for Children’s Worship.
Location: Good Shepherd School
Half-Day Adventures
Designed for elementary school children, this free program follows the Dorchester School District Two half-day schedule (11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.). Our pastors lead adventures to parks, museums, and community visits, along with kid-focused devotions and prayer at lunchtime. Our goal is for children to feel heard, welcomed, and connected as we grow together as a team for Christ. Parents are welcome to join the adventures, too!
Youth Group
For middle and high school students, Youth Group focuses on Scripture, relationships, and living out faith in everyday life as youth grow in their understanding of Jesus Christ. We meet Sundays from 5:30–7:30 p.m. to dive deep into topics that really matter as we strive to build each other up in the faith. We also enjoy fun activities that bring us closer together and welcome our peers. We strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community and love putting our faith into action.
