The Good Shepherd School is committed to offering nutritious meals and snacks for our children to promote healthy growth and development. Our menus will include fresh fruits and vegetables, milk and cheese, and whole grain crackers and pastas. Please see below for a sample menu. Menus are sent weekly to parents and posted monthly outside the school office.
Monday: Breakfast- Cereal and milk; Lunch- Chicken Marinara (penne pasta with peas), mandarin oranges; Snack- banana bread and milk
Tuesday: Breakfast- Cheesy grits; Lunch- Beanie Weanie, diced carrots, diced apples; Snack- raisins and Cheez-Itz
Wednesday: Breakfast- French toast sticks; Lunch- turkey wraps, cucumbers, diced pineapple; Snack- yogurt and Ritz crackers
Thursday: Breakfast- Yogurt parfait; Lunch- English muffin pizzas, broccoli, fruit cocktail; Snack- Yogurt Chex Mix and juice
Friday: Breakfast- Nutri-Grain Bars; Lunch- Chef's Choice; Snack- mini-muffins and mixed fruit
